Leicester accountants become partners in merged Midlands firm:

Following the recent announcement of the merger of    Leicester based accountants, Hayles and Partners with the Nottingham and Birmingham offices of McGregors Corporate, it is has been announced that Peter Morris and Simon Davies have become partners in the combined firm.

Both Mr Morris and Mr Davies have lived and worked in Leicester for over 20 years, having previously been directors of the Hayles and Partners practice.

Mr Morris, who lives in the city, is to lead the firm’s support for international trading matters as it becomes a member of the UK200 Group, which links leading independent accounting and legal firms across the UK and the world.

Mr Davies, who lives in Market Harborough, is to lead the firm’s development of support for young entrepreneurs, developing support, advice and relationships with universities and new business incubation centres across Leicester and the midlands region.

Mr Morris said, “Together with the comprehensive support, products and services that we now have in place, the genuine business experience of our working partner team, combined with the friendly and client focussed approach of an independent practice, we are extremely excited about our future development.  Our aim is to provide owner managed businesses within the region a genuine alternative to larger and far more costly firms and we are confident that we can ensure success for ourselves and our current and future clients alike.”
